Bespoke Laser Cut Christmas Tree Toppers for Coca-Cola
We were commissioned by Coca-Cola to design and manufacture a collection of bespoke Christmas tree toppers as premium corporate gifts. The objective was to create a festive decoration that celebrated the Coca-Cola brand while showcasing the craftsmanship and precision of modern laser cutting techniques.
Designed entirely in-house, the tree topper combines multiple materials and layered construction to create a striking three-dimensional decoration with illuminated detailing and premium finishes.
The main star and supporting stem were precision laser cut from 3mm birch plywood, providing a lightweight yet strong structure. Decorative cut-outs, festive patterns, and intricate detailing were incorporated into the design to give the ornament depth and character while maintaining the natural warmth of the wood.
The iconic Coca-Cola logo was laser cut from 3mm red acrylic before being finished with a vibrant red glitter coating. Mounted as a raised element on the front of the decoration, the logo creates a bold focal point that contrasts beautifully against the natural birch plywood.
To enhance the festive appearance, the centre panel was manufactured from 3mm frosted opal acrylic (Perspex®). This translucent panel softly diffuses light from surrounding Christmas tree lights while displaying a finely laser-engraved illustration featuring the classic Coca-Cola Christmas truck and winter trees. The combination of engraving and frosted acrylic creates a subtle illuminated effect that brings the design to life when displayed on a decorated tree.
Each component was carefully assembled by hand using high-quality PVA adhesive, ensuring perfect alignment between the layered plywood, acrylic, and decorative elements. The finished topper was designed to fit securely onto standard Christmas tree poles, creating a stable and elegant centrepiece for festive displays.
To complete the presentation, every tree topper was supplied in a bespoke presentation box fitted with a precision laser cut foam insert, protecting the decoration during transport while providing a premium unboxing experience worthy of a corporate gift.
