Commissioned by Neasden Temple (BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London), this highly detailed architectural temple model was expertly manufactured using precision CO₂ laser cutting and bespoke acrylic fabrication techniques. Created as a scale representation of the temple’s magnificent entrance archway, the model showcases the intricate craftsmanship achievable through modern laser cutting combined with traditional model-making expertise.
Manufactured from 3mm white cast acrylic, every architectural element was individually laser cut to reproduce the elaborate carvings, decorative mouldings, arches, columns and ornamental latticework found on the original temple façade. The precision of the laser cutting process allowed even the finest decorative details to be accurately recreated, producing exceptionally crisp components with clean, precise edges.
The project involved the manufacture of hundreds of individual acrylic components, each carefully organised and hand assembled in our workshop to create a fully three-dimensional architectural model. Every section was accurately aligned and bonded together to replicate the depth, symmetry and intricate detailing of the temple’s entrance, resulting in a striking museum-quality display piece.
