Bespoke Bamboo Presentation Boxes for Premium Drinks & Corporate Gifting
We were commissioned by a leading drinks company to manufacture a limited production run of 50 bespoke hardwood presentation boxes designed to showcase a premium decanter, crystal glass, and branded coasters. The objective was to create an elegant, reusable presentation box that reflected the quality of the products inside while providing secure protection during storage and transport.
Each presentation box was precision CNC machined from 12mm solid bamboo, chosen for its strength, sustainability, and attractive natural grain. The boxes were engineered with tight tolerances to ensure a perfect fit between the lid and base, resulting in a high-quality finish and smooth operation.
To create a sophisticated two-tone appearance, the exterior of each box was hand-finished with a rich dark walnut stain, while the interior was left in its natural bamboo finish. This contrast highlights the beauty of the timber and gives the presentation box a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic.
The lid was fitted with concealed hinges and a premium brushed stainless steel clasp, providing a secure closure while maintaining the clean, elegant lines of the design. Every hardware component was carefully installed to ensure long-lasting durability and a refined finish.
Inside the box, we designed a bespoke protective foam lining to safely accommodate the decanter, whisky glass, and coasters. The insert cushions the contents, preventing movement during transport while presenting each item in a neat and organised layout. The removable foam lining also allows the box to be adapted for different products if required.
As the final stage of production, each presentation box was hand-finished with a light application of Danish oil, enhancing the natural grain of the bamboo while providing a durable protective finish. This treatment enriches the colour of the wood and gives the box a smooth, tactile feel that complements the premium nature of the gift set.
From CNC machining and hand finishing to hardware installation and final assembly, every presentation box was manufactured and quality inspected in our workshop to ensure exceptional craftsmanship throughout the production run.
